Post-Onboarding Checklist
Please review the steps below upon completing your onboarding.

Prepare a biography for your Agent Page as your Agent Experience Team Member will work with you to make your Agent Page domain go “live” to the public. Additionally, come ready with a headshot to add to your page. If you still need a headshot, please contact your Agent Experience Team Member, who will put you in contact with our preferred photographer(s).
Consider using Compass AI (i.e. Compass’ version of ChatGPT) to help write your bio!
Use the Sample CSV sheet to import any contacts into your Compass CRM. Learn more about importing your contacts n Compass Academy. Create “Tags” in the Settings tab to ensure your contacts are easy to pull in bulk.

Connect your Social Media accountsand announce your move to Compass! (Compass AI can be useful for writing social media posts, as well)

Newly licensed agents will be able complete this step once they have applied for NAR (National Association of Realtors) membership and a NRDS ID has been issued.

*Please complete setting up your Payment Settings for invoicing and enroll in Auto-Pay by clicking HERE.
In addition to your credit card, you can now add a U.S. bank account (ACH) to your payment settings and use it to pay invoices, set up AutoPay, or manage payment plans. Adding a payment method is part of the expectations of holding a license with Compass and is standard brokerage procedure. Add your card or a bank account within 72 hours of your onboarding or you will lose account access.

Reminder: Ensure your social media accounts, REALTOR® profiles, Youtube, Google business page, voicemail, etc. are updated to reflect your transition to Compass, and please continue to use your personal email for all logins.

Schedule 5-10 minutes each day to group and tag contacts in your CRM based on your relationship with them. This will make your marketing efforts more relevant to your audience and return better results. Here’s how to organize your contacts.
Check your “Likely to Sell” tab on your Agent Home Toolbar. Organize by likelihood of selling and make sure you are reaching out to these people, daily.
Announce your move to Compass with beautiful print and digital marketing assets. Check out pre-built templates in Marketing Center. You can also send a bulk message to your top clients announcing your move to Compass. A bulk message feels like an personal email, but can be sent to multiple contacts at once. This is a great time saving tool that yields high engagement.
List your first Compass listing as a Private Exclusive using Compass’ 3-Phased Marketing Strategy.

To become a new member of KCRAR, please complete the membership application (linked above). If you are coming from a different REALTOR® association, you will need to include a letter of good standing from that association.
After completing the membership application, you will be guided to an application for MLS subscriber access. This is necessary as you will obtain your login credentials for Heartland MLS and Supra e-Key access.
Once you are officially a KCRAR member, you will need to take the following classes within your first 60 days of joining KCRAR:
